PEF Announces Social justice Scholarship on Dr King's Day
Athletic / Social Justice Scholarship to be Offered through the PEF
The Princeton Education Foundation is extremely pleased to administer the "James E & Genia M Brock Sports & Social Justice Scholarship". This scholarship is sponsored by the collective efforts of the Brock & Egbert families as a way to memorialize the impact that James & Genia Brock made to social justice utilizing sports. They saw athletics as a way to develop character and improve social integration while also making a difference in the world as a whole. It's only fitting that this scholarship be announced on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's holiday!
This scholarship is a one time, non-renewable, $1,000 scholarship that is available to any graduating senior of Princeton High School or Princeton student graduating from Scarlet Oaks. A few of additional requirements include but are not limited to: applicant must have played sports in high school, must be accepted to & attending a college or university after high school, must be planning on playing sports in college and has shown efforts to make social change.
